OAuth Verification Data
HotDrop uses OAuth authentication with YouTube and Twitch to verify creator status. This is a core part of maintaining our verified creator community.
When you connect your YouTube or Twitch account, we access:
- YouTube: Your channel ID, channel name, subscriber count, and YouTube Partner Program status. We use this to verify you are an active creator and to display your creator credentials on your profile.
- Twitch: Your Twitch username, follower count, and affiliate/partner status. We use this to verify your creator status and display your streaming credentials.
We do not access:
- Your private videos or streams
- Your revenue or earnings data
- Your subscriber or follower lists
- The ability to post, upload, or modify content on your behalf
You can disconnect your YouTube or Twitch account at any time through your HotDrop account settings. When disconnected, we will delete the verification data associated with that platform.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve HotDrop
- Verify your creator status and maintain community quality
- Process your account registration and manage your account
- Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests

Information Sharing
